President Donald Trump has withdrawn his federal lawsuit against Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register, according to a court filing made Monday, ending his challenge over a statewide poll that inaccurately favored his 2024 opponent, The Hill reported.

An attorney representing Selzer informed NPR that no settlement has been reached.

The lawsuit, filed in December, accused the newspaper and Selzer of violating Iowa’s consumer fraud laws by allegedly “intentionally” misleading voters with an erroneous late-October 2024 poll showing then-Vice President Kamala Harris leading the presidential election in the Hawkeye State by three points.
